What is the best way to clean my aligners?

Greg D Updated by Greg D

Toothpaste, warm water and a soft-bristled toothbrush are your best friends when it comes to cleaning your Invisible Aligners!

There are 2 specific brushing techniques that yield fantastic results every time:

  1. Hard Brushing:

Brush hard and fast, this will mean you get the majority of the surface bacteria brushed away and is great option for a quick fix.

  1. Precise Brushing:

For a deep clean - Slow, focused brush strokes with the tip of the bristles will ensure that your aligners look as good as new!

When brushing this way, get close and personal and really fine-tune your eyes to match where the stains are to that of the bristles, and slowly connect the 2 using and back-and-forth motion. This will remove most if not all stains.

To finish the cleanse off and get the best results, run each aligner under cold water and shake them off!
